After four weeks of voting on Jamilton.ca for your favourite bands the results are in. The semi-finalists are FL!P , Boys of Thunder, Left from Right, and Prologic.
These four bands will battle it out on stage live at the Casbah on Sunday October 19th. Our panel of expert judges includes local singer-songwriter Steve Strongman , Juno Award winning musician Tomi Swick , music producer Ron Allen, and Jamilton music bloggers Nicole Nicolson and Heather Curtis. Our judging panel will be making their decision on specific criteria, such as originality, musical proficiency, and stage presence.
Winner of the 2008 Jamilton Talent Search receives the grand prize – a series of recording sessions provided by event co-sponsor Vibewrangler Recording Studio. Don’t miss your opportunity to come out and support your favourite band. The event is Licensed/All-ages and is taking place on Sunday October 19th. Doors open at 7pm . On Friday, Oct. 10, advance tickets go on sale for $10 at the front desk of the The Hamilton Spectator.
