Toronto International Music Summit 2012 – Conference Schedule and Information

Welcome to the 2012 Toronto International Music Summit 2012! Are you an emerging artist who doesn’t know where to start in the music industry, a student studying in the entertainment industry or just a professional who wants to network? Join us for this highly anticipated music conference, networking and concert event on Saturday May 26, 2012 from 10am – 3pm at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel and Hard Rock Cafe (5pm- 9pm) in Toronto.

This conference will help artists learn more about the music business, understand how to develop their career and provide an opportunity to network with music industry professionals. We have a broad range of music industry professionals, companies and media sponsors attending the 2012 event. This year we are focusing on Canadian music industry experts who are aimed to inspire, educate and support our emerging Canadian talent. Proceeds will be donated to Musicounts to support music programs for kids across Canada.

With music lessons fading out in schools across Canada there is an increasing interest for alternative options for music training. This session will explore the benefits of entertainment industry training and options available for all age groups. Learn the fundamentals of vocal techniques and theory.

Artists can sign up for 1 minute review session with a group of professional panelists to discuss and evaluate their music. Mentor feedback will provide artists with ideas on how to take their career to the next level.
