The EMERGE Artists Showcase is an eclectic collection of artists in genres from jazz r&b, country, folk, rock and soul.Performances will be accompanied a selection of Toronto’s best live musicians.

emerge-artists_Bella Staasia Danielss  Stassia Daniels is ready to fly with the stars. Staasia is a developing artist from the Greater Toronto Area, and has made a name for herself in her community in just over a year. She has caught the attention of many who have featured her on blog websites and  radio play on 105.5. Staasia also wrote an amazing version to Toronto’s own Drake- Marvin’s Room, which showed people her diversity and increasing You Tube views drastically to 100,000 views to date. Staasia has performed in Toronto at different venues, including the annual Youth Day at Dundas square. In between video releases, Staasia maintains her audience by singing many YouTube covers that supporter’s request, always accompanied with video, and never disappointing her supporters.Listen to Staasia’s music here

Born LaToya Ottley, singer/songwriter Toya Diamond is on the rise and making noise in her hometown of Toronto, Canada. Her stunning vocals and hard work have allowed her to make major strides in a short time. She has worked with Grammy-award-winning producer Boi-1Da, producer Mega Man and R&B songstress Kim Davis. She appeared in the video for “We Gon Go” by international recording artist Kardinal Offishall and graced Universal France recording artist Junior Caldera with her mesmerizing vocals on his 2010 “Lights”. geneva.b  With R’n’B, hip hop and jazzy, honeyed soul in the mix, geneva.b maintains a classic appeal with futuristic flavour. Currently working on a single with notable South African electronic producer Boddhi Satva, geneva.b continues to experiment and add new sonic journeys to her ever expanding repertoire. Gyles  Gyles’ vocals are behind the hook of Juno and Much Music Award winner Carlos Morgan’s “Baby c’mon”, featured on Groove Essentials Volume 1. Soon after, she provided background vocals for Juno award winner Jully Black and Juno nominee Camille Douglas. Having been noticed quickly for a singing style bathed with sparkly tenacity, Gyles was brought on board as lead vocalist for Toronto neo-soul band Jamesking. Two of her songs have been awarded second place at the 2008 and 2010 Radio Star National Songwriter’s Competition. One of which, has been featured in the major motion picture: Shark City – starring Vivica A. Fox. Her live performances have garnered her headlining honors for the 2008 Montreal Funk Festival and opening in 2009 for Ivana Santilli during Canadian Music Week.
